The Highland One Stop Shop (HOSS) is a free, person-centred support service for adults aged 16 and over with an autism spectrum condition (ASC) who live in the Highlands, as well as their families/carers and professionals.  We offer free social groups and activities, scheduled drop in times and 1-1 appointments for advice and support on a range of issues.  We also have an NHS Diagnostician based at Albion House, which enables us to provide pre as well as post diagnostic support to adults contemplating or going through assessment.

The One Stop Shop’s services are delivered by Autism Initiatives; our expectation is that people with autism can learn and develop and we support this process every single day, working in real partnership with service users, families and others.  We are always keen to hear comments so that we can continue to improve the service we provide and also have a Service User Forum to work with us to help shape the future of the One Stop Shop.

Anyone interested in using the services should book an appointment to meet with a member of staff, who will give you a brief induction to the services and resources which are available.  You can phone or email yourself, or get someone to do it for you.  You can also bring someone you trust with you when you come along.
