The National Theatre’s highly acclaimed production of the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time based on Mark Haddon’s award-winning novel, adapted by Simon Stephens and directed by Marianne Elliott, has opened in March at the West End’s Apollo Theatre. The production is running until January 2014.
The production follows the plot of the book, first published in 2003, in which 15-year-old Christopher Boone, a maths genius with Asperger’s syndrome, sets out to solve the mystery of who killed his neighbour’s dog.
Luke Treadaway ‘s performance as Christopher has been called ‘astonishing’ (Time Out). He is joined by Matthew Barker, Niamh Cusack, Sophie Duval, Rhiannon Harper-Rafferty, Nick Sidi and Howard Ward, in this current production.
