REACH for Autism Inverclyde is delighted to announce that as Scotland’s first accredited Carol Gray Social Stories Satellite School they are now able to offer Social Stories training throughout Scotland for professionals working with children or adults on the autistic spectrum.
Social Stories are an evidence-based social learning tool for autistic children and adults and are used to help provide context to a certain situation or skill. When written correctly they can provide the autistic individual with greater social awareness and understanding and may help to reduce confusion and anxiety.
Carol Gray Social Stories training is a great resource for teachers and other professionals who work with autistic individuals and will also provide a greater understanding of autism.
Cost for professionals and organisations is £150, however there is limited availability for 50% reduced rate for parents.
