As an accredited Museums Association museum, Robert Burns Birthplace Museum is proud to be welcoming and inclusive to all audiences. Their aim to encourage and enable as many people as possible to enjoy their collection.
Whilst the interactive and audio visual elements are a fantastic way for many to engage with the exhibition, some of their visitors find them overwhelming and for this reason they are creating accessible opening times for two hours in the afternoon of the first Tuesday of every month when audio visual aspects will be switched off.
This session will take place on 2nd October 2018, future sessions will be on the first Tuesday of every month.
Please check with the venue to ensure this event is confirmed to go ahead, prior to travelling.
