Action on Autism Research Seminar Series – Call for Abstracts

Since November 2013 Universities of Strathclyde, Edinburgh and Aberdeen have been collaborating on the organisation of a series of four research seminars entitled ‘Action on Autism Research – Improving Impact’. Organisers would like to invite you to submit an abstract for review for possible inclusion in one of the remaining two seminars planned for:

  • 28-29 April (Seminar 3: Social Research, Interventions and Impact)
  • 9-10 June (Seminar 4: Educational Research, Interventions and Impact).

You are invited to hand in an abstract for a research paper and/or a research poster. Please, submit the document electronically as a pdf to caroline.marley@strath.ac.uk  by Tuesday, 8 April for Seminar 3 and by Thursday, 8 May for Seminar 4. The submission should be around 250 words + key references and include the following:

  • Title of study
  • Author(s) including affiliations and email addresses
  • 3 – 5 keywords
  • Aims and background
  • Methods
  • Key findings or expected outcomes/results
  • Impact of the project on theory, policy and practice
  • References
