The Hadley Court Singers’ Call for Artwork

Categories: News

The Hadley Court Signers are a group of people who join together for the love of singing in harmony with one another. Based in Haddington, East Lothian they believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the music they create. They have an exciting new concert being held at 7:30pm Saturday 5th April 2014 at St Mary’s Parish Church, Haddington entitled “Creation”.

Whilst the choir is performing they wish to show a video montage of artworks created by people with autism. The call for artwork for this event is open to anyone who is on the autism spectrum. The piece of art submitted can be a drawing, a photograph, a short piece of video or anything else that ultimately could be photographed or videoed e.g. sculpture. The only stipulation is there is no sound used. The  artwork should portray how that person sees the world through their senses in relation to one of or indeed all of the following: the light, the stars, the seasons, living creatures and human interaction. Artwork can be sent to autism.network@strath.ac.uk  or Stewart.Campbell@aiscotland.org.uk
