Research Study on Movement in Children with Autism seeks Participants

Categories: News

Jonathan Delafield-Butt at the University of Strathclyde is seeking participants for an upcoming Research Study.

Children 4-6 years old with autism spectrum disorder are needed for a small study of movement in autism. Movement differences are a regular feature of autism, but little is known about them and how they contribute to autism. This study will measure movements made in a short, playful game to better understand them. This research will improve understanding of autism to help enable more responsive treatments in the future.

If you would like to participate, please contact Dr Jonathan Delafield-Butt for more information or to set an appointment, by email at, or by telephone on 0141 444 8053. The playful game will take 30 minutes either in your home or at Strathclyde University. Thank you for your time.
